Who Are We?

Dash Me (UK) is a London based  Charity with Charities Commission Registration  Number  1203688.
We are a small charity with big ambition, dedicated to the relief of poverty in West and Central Africa with a specific focus on
1. Orphaned and vulnerable children
2. Disadvantaged youth
3. Victims of domestic violence
We celebrate self help, working  with small indigenous groups  solving local problems within the countries we cover. These include orphanages, battered women’s shelters, schools and disabled persons support groups, We profile their activities with a focus on the impact  of their work then  raise funding  and other resources to support them.
We do this via a range of fundraising activities engaging the diaspora of West and Central African descent and friend of the region.
We are committed to promoting a new narrative that ‘we help each other’

How We Operate

We receive and consider applications for project funding from orphanages, domestic violence shelters and those who work with the disabled within the West And Central Africa region.

We profile and assess them to ensure they meet our standards in terms of governance,  track record and value for money.

The Board then approves projects  eligible for our funding. We fundraise- reaching out to our supporters to raise funds for our projects

Donor Assurance – this is the most important aspect of our work This team ensures that the funds attain the expected impact. This is done by our rgoourus pre pejct appraisal, our results based disbursement arrangements and our continuous review of our projects  by audit and inspections.
